Summary: A turnkey conception of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_matter and Energy as being the nuclear material contained in the nuclei of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanobacteria as illustrated by the above photo as a 'onion' of elements being pealed back in a reveal of the combustion cycles played out in a rolling thunderous flash-bang of wood, nails, and miscellaneous building materials being boiled by the reverse engine of the flames of the Sun shining back its light and thermal energy by means the powered illustration of the running of the gears of the Phase Transition sorting matter by means (Dark) Energy's bacterial born elements, coming again 'unglued' (quarks re-de-paired) in the combustion process that surrenders the atomic building blocks of same -- directly back over the long distance haul to comprise the essencial threads in the fabric of Hilbert space with all energy via material information ultimately being returning to said Sun and or Black Hole from which the quarks and atomic bits originally hail to complete the quark 'complimentary'* re-pairing by dint of being propelled by the combustion process of the resultant accretion disk/ 'dust devils'/twistor theory technologies as seen above 'in heat of night' of the fire storm that was the Burning of the Man in 2012.
As the lumber pile of the flaming Man was constructed by means the nuclear power of the bacterial processes by means so many atomic bonds forged from light and, dark energy which we see cycling back to its sources of the Sun/distant Star or other cosmic input to Earth in conjunction and propelled by a 'series of (quantum) tubes' which are the black hole we see above witnessed, and interpreted as the 'ashes to ashes and, dust to dust' of the atomic bonds are returned to sender of the respective Sun/Black hole from whence it came -- approximately driven in the nuclear manner of a salmon to swim home and spawn in the same (sweet) spot where it was born in the 'home stream', compelled by a singular guiding force and power of quark repair made possible; given the critical mass of atomic motivation as seems to be the case of the Salmon, as in most species is: the nuclear material of a chain reaction of Bacterial life as 'master and commander' of both the food and combustion chains by means of its growth function in conjunction with its role as the motor of infinite expanding, self powered Universe by the 20 something percent of the Universe the is Dark Matter and Energy captured and delivered as fuel from the Sun -- and in making the run to/fro do so compose the 'foam of space' as well as go to show how the speed of light is limited* as a function of the rate of expansion of the universe. That Dark Matter is the Nuclear Energy of the nucleus of bacterial life in the form of the 'three families' running of single celled life (and four types of quarks that in) producing the N20 gasses that enable all combustion in the process of making and breaking of the hydrogen and nitrogen bonds in a fractal math that both feeds back the energy in action reaction but goes forward in the process of growth, because there is no such thing as a vacuum. All space is busy doing the 'work' of going forward (expanding by means the biological 'economic activity' of the present), and (backward [against, and by means of the foam of space - in a quantum tunnel] to repair/restore (once paired) quarks, and re-power the sun by means of fresh helium and hydrogen bonds made new care of the Dark Energy of Bacteria and Life as we know it though the power of the food chain running against Black Hole technology in repair of quarks as seen above. The same re-paired quark power that 'run' the salmon's clockwork migration, back to a home stream from the ocean -- thus fueling the forests of the both the Atlantic and Pacific by means of the streams with their Nitrogen and making them greener, and brimming with more life, than the present moonscape we see in many parts of the West where the nitrogen cycle was altered by means of the linchpin of the nitrogen cycle coming off the axle of nature in the form big fish stopped spawning in large numbers when their runs came to a crawl.*
This line of logic leads me to surmise that the 'speed of light in a vacuum' arises from what is governed by the radiation contained in the 'foam of space' (comprised of the four flavors of quarks in repair of the past, explaining the power of the 'gas in the (proverbial) tank' of the present -- as Dark, Energetic and Organic so as to propel, expand, and provide for the future -- in the micro[wave radiation] and macro) gears which is my conception of the cogs of the expanding universal gearbox meshing in such cosmic perfection that there is a logical return of the energy that created the light factored into the equation to keep the lights on back on the home Star burning for the prescribed and observed Space Time and time again across the Universe -- thus providing enough data to perhaps resolving the Faint Young Star Paradox explaining how Stars are renewed over time and space via paradoxically Ross Perot's 'giant sucking sound' technology/meme of economic shrink to the south, explained on another level by Steven Hawking's Theory of Black Hole Radiation as illustrated above, by means of the past powering the present and the future at the rate of the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmological_constant ('giant suck' rate of -1) per the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmological_principle that both expands the Universe and binds matter together care of the physical gears of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_of_mass by means of the above mentioned phase transition.
If one follows 'the money' that feeds this economy, to and fro to get to the heart of what sets 'barnyard logic' to beating (as I did as a forward-reverse engineering check of my logic and facts in the macro and micro) so as to affirm my conclusion, that "dark energy and matter" is the gas of the compost heap as 'the fuel rods' of the microbiological 'breeder reactor', which accounts for the spinning of the wheels of the Nitrogen Cycle in and on a planet and solar system that predominates with that element, which in turn, keys the Carbon and Oxygen cycles by means the manufacture of the organic molecular bonds, that serve as vital cogs in the twin functions of the combustion and food chains that in time solve for X using particle physics, organic chemistry to see the possibility of the life of biology being able to supply the mechanical power to a world as key to a solar system that functioning as a quantum dynamic set of gears in a Galaxy in a expanding Universe which rate of inflation is our Gravity and does account for the standard lot of black holes, and Einstein Rings that are all organic in this model understood as the world we live to be part of a atomic forest of trees grown over space in time constructed of light as quarks in repair which constitutes the radiation which is measured as "The impedance of free space… approximately 376.7 ohms."^ which is the 'static frequency' of the "sea of time" as well the 'foam of space'; of quarks in complimentary repair of the past, while propelling the future forward at that Cosmological Constant.
I quote from the secondary source of: research, that confirms the raw math and inherent logic of this line of reasoning confirmed by the data stack drawn from the deep weeds of Wikipedia to back the raw math of my (abstract) thinking, that found and processed the following: " Nitrous oxide is emitted by bacteria in soils and oceans, and thus has been a part of Earth's atmosphere for millenia. ... Nitrous oxide reacts with ozone in the stratosphere. Nitrous oxide is the main naturally occurring regulator of stratospheric ozone. Nitrous oxide is a major greenhouse gas. Considered over a 100-year period, it has 310 times more impact per unit weight than carbon dioxide. Thus, despite its low concentration, nitrous oxide is the fourth largest contributor to these greenhouse gases. It ranks behind water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane. Control of nitrous oxide is part of efforts to curb greenhouse gas emissions. " - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrous_oxide .
In nature, nitrogen is fixed by means the power of the family of bacteria know as en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diazotroph
Therefore, Bacteria is vital cog in the gears of producing the biomass of any given hydrocarbon that burns in the above fire, at the party for a week in the Desert, and or runs the world economy.
Consequently to say that we as a species and to person are Bacteria powered and based is not too great a stretch in thinking from the micro to the macro of what I perceive are two Black Holes of the atomic remains of Burning Man 2012 comprised of non combustible Bacteria that are pumping N20 'laughing back' in a witches brewing tangle with non combusted VOC's aka en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volatile_organic_compound 's with the Dark Matter/Energy being the Bacteria that makes combustion possible on a atomic level to matter at what juncture on the CNO cycles where one family of Bacteria that binds en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrus_oxide to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon , add the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanobacteria to the Dark Matter list for its role in combustion at the atomic level, bring light to life as heat and the building blocks of the food chain where there is no waste whereby matter bound is form and released in Hydrogen bonds of demi-big bang being 'ripped' free and re broken to 'dribble out' and vent safely though a series of holes in the Earths ozone back up to the 'mother ship' of a Black Hole in the middle of the galaxy to be reprocessed into basic matter and new stars; imho, and according to my version of the General Unified Theory the remainder of the combusted Matter is spun off from the inferno in a Energy input = Energy output to/fro Earth over Space Time in visual form as a large pile of 'mass equivalence' goes 'up in smoke' c/o Bacteria* in concert with people and the Sun. There exists some tidy math for this light show to be sure; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twistor_Theory the math of which is 'light years' beyond me, but does suggest that the entire mass of the inferno factored in (as in all the elements in the blaze) which is better than a 'boards and nails' 'vision thing', that was my mistaken thinking up until I read the work of Witten, Penrose, and the late great; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_G._Wilson.
Further there is amazing math that goes direct to the rotation of this equation that I am just wrapping my head around (as it is circular) which is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noether%27s_theorem
Please to get to know: Emmy Noether, as well Roger Penrose whose 'Twister Theory Edward Witten proposed uniting with string theory' (- wikipedia Twistor Theory) - which makes perfect sense to me, as illustrated above as a expression of matter seen on the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S_matrix as a expression of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-theory whereby matter is 'sorted' out on the spot by the light of the fire, (by and,) for the long trip "HOME" *.
Notes on vortex mixing and propulsion as a kick start "reverse thrust" engineering drawn from recent research; processed and now; thought out loud so as to go with the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_recognition in connecting the fairly bright dots of; "The large luminosity of quasars [which are] believed to be a result of gas being accreted by supermassive black holes. This process can convert about 10 percent of the mass of an object into energy as compared to around 0.5 percent for nuclear fusion processes." -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accretion_disc Furthermore, following the material science logic, intuition and links we find that: "Quasars are believed to be powered by accretion of material into supermassive black holes in the nuclei of distant galaxies, making these luminous versions of the general class of objects known as active galaxies. Since light cannot escape the super massive black holes that are at the centre of quasars, the escaping energy is actually generated outside the event horizon by gravitational stresses and immense friction on the incoming material.[6] Large central masses (106 to 109 Solar masses) have been measured in quasars using reverberation mapping. Several dozen nearby large galaxies, with no sign of a quasar nucleus, have been shown to contain a similar central black hole in their nuclei, so it is thought that all large galaxies have one, but only a small fraction emit powerful radiation and so are seen as quasars. The matter accreting onto the black hole is unlikely to fall directly in, but will have some angular momentum around the black hole that will cause the matter to collect in an accretion disc. Quasars may also be ignited or re-ignited from normal galaxies when infused with a fresh source of matter."[6][7][8] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasar. All very predictable but complicated at the same time, such that the reality agrees with the theory in every single instance, of thought experimentation -- I can conjure and as well very vividly illustrated above.

*** The matter of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asymptotic_freedom --- which "was discovered and described in 1973 by Frank Wilczek and David Gross, and independently by David Politzer the same year. All three shared the Nobel Prize in physics in 2004."
My humble attempt has been to form a micro to macro full functional conception which Dr. Gross terms a 'line of reasoning' that is "logically consistent" so as to fit into a 'theoretical framework' and more or less solve the framework of nature over time and space in terms of expansion shrink combustion and spin by shooting a comprehensive scientific game that forms and runs the periodic table organically in "this game" - and in doing so share some sort of 'winning' articulated insight into the Grande Scheme of the macro to micro operating system of the Universe by means the Quantum Dynamic being reconciled with the Quantum Mechanic by means understood to be organic in nature and Universal.
The entire wired interview should be read, as it make sense of quarks of the larger picture that I am unable, - so cite -- as well this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Gross entry on the 'tip of the spear' of thinking about such things, who has informed, directed, and shaped my reasoning by articulating clearly his views on this subject by means a illustrated lecture.
"Gross: Those of us in this game believe that it is possible to go pretty far out on a limb, if one is careful to be logically consistent within an existing theoretical framework. How far that method will succeed is an open question."
The big simple question is therefore:
does the above logic keep the checkbook of the nature of Nature in balance, and answer the basic set of questions regarding the Nature of light and matter.
Which might have a plausible trail in deep Space and Time by means the same 'line of logic' contained in these relevant points on the subject of Black Holes and Dark Matter as explained herein ; www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=dark-side-of-bl... and, www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=single-cell-seq... the macro and micro to complete the puzzle of the organic nature of Dark Matter and Energy being the 'flip side' of the switch that is the power of light.
The self motivating mission of rising to take the bait so as to be the first 'fish' in this 'school' to meet the challenge of attempting to work the Big Science Problem Set to figure out the Unified Theory by means working the problem as if a huge cross word puzzle with the 'down' 'known with ontological certitude' as Scientific Fact - those wildly useful insights as answers and keys to leverage by means lateral thinking to fill in the 'across' information and thereby derive the fabric of nature by weaving data science intuition and experience to recursively random dynamically 'picture think' the the puzzle to completion by means having that as my fixed moving target so as to make completing the puzzle so -- then explaining it by pulling those same pieces of puzzle of reality that are part of a logical chain of logic that is completely informed by vetted information found and processed from the front to back of my mind at all times, so as to be "logically consistent" -- in a set of answers that provide solutions that advances and frames the macro micro perspective as a insight into my vocational and academic careers, so as to inform and direct my research to find answers where God does battle with the Devil in the details of the Natural World on Earth such the the fine grain detail can be sifted, discerned and made sense of in such a way that all computes at every level backwards and forwards in time, then my time has been well spent -- working the problem so as to connect the dots of the known with that of the what we seek to know by means of reading between the lines of logic as written clearly by Nature as I am reading them and attempting to write them for my own understanding and that of anyone else who is following this 'line of logic' as far as I can presently explain the workings which to my mind, power the expansion of the Universe while also atomically fueling the past by running the gears of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNO_cycle organically thus holding The Universe together, by means by the power of Hawking Radiation witnessed as the process of complimentary quarks in repair, forming the gears of the Universe running in the micro to the macro meshing for your consideration to produce a model of that can: -- produce the (re)power of Suns and in the process explain the mystery of the limit of the speed and curvature of light by means of understanding the atomic nature of the building blocks of the micro to macro Natural World that function to Operate the Universe in the past, present and future in a 'Quasi-steady state'.
The mechanisms for this function of light further identified and explained is the power of *XRAYS and GAMMA as being a method of combining storing and scattered matter -- as the last atoms -- over time and space as the yin/yang of the 'respective forces' as expressed and understood as the atomic energy of Gamma Rays - cycled balanced with the XRAY, as a series of inputs and outputs from Stars to solar systems in a process of quark repair that creates and 'fill the void' with matter and the arrow of time, by my logic which deduces from observation of the known and the need to fill cogs in the wheels of the Grand Scheme thereby showing myself and in the process others whose interests are in the world of the high energy theoretical physics how long lost pairs of quarks - split by Dark Energies random path through 'wondering' in the literal and proverbial/metaphorical/actual 'Desert' over time and space, are after a period of perceptual entropy, shot back to 'sender' aka the Sun = E = MC2 in a loop thus perhaps somehow resolving the Faint Young Star Paradox, with enough 'fuel' left over for growth though the conversion of the supply of Dark Matter to Dark Energy, before the process repeats; in another relatively 'Big Bang™' that is matter org. chart going through a periodic restructuring, to put it in corporate terms - for a long 'shot in the dark' in a attempt to 'bust' some 'fresh sod' regarding Dark Matter and Energy in the department of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmology by understanding Dark Matter and Energy as being as organic in Nature and therefore understand the connection and explanation of this situation by this train of thought going deep into 'outer space; as it were to bring the matter of the Gamma cycle in the further focus; nyti.ms/18zdIlp Gamma Rays May Be Clue on Dark Matter

There is much math for the above and it is boggling my mind as to a happy conclusion.
Updated; with mild regularity for clarity, content is constant, if not expanding as additional evidence only strengthens this case of logical points as dots at last connected to form a clear picture of a working theoretical model as illustrated and functioning as reality as in the above instance in Quantum Mechanical Dynamic Space Time.
Chuckling at the first sentence, "firewall problem" in light of the above photo essay, being a 'wall of fire' explained a entropy in action of Black Hole feeding frenzy illustrated -- metaphorically ripening on the shelf of this internet address until the such time as it smells, and grows like and old Desert Sage.
The EPR Paradox is getting some study so perhaps having it parked here for the past few years is good for the 'line of logic' as it brings this matter into a reasonable "frame of reference" as it were; www.quantamagazine.org/wormhole-entanglement-and-the-fire...
"No one is sure yet whether ER = EPR will solve the firewall problem. John Preskill, a physicist at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, reminded readers of Quantum Frontiers, the blog for Caltech’s Institute for Quantum Information and Matter, that sometimes physicists rely on their “sense of smell” to sniff out which theories have promise. “At first whiff,” he wrote, “ER = EPR may smell fresh and sweet, but it will have to ripen on the shelf for a while.”
Together with this set of insights that seem to be right on target as far as sorting matter by the above means; www.quantamagazine.org/20121221-alice-and-bob-meet-the-wa... as illustrated and explained above.
Note; no contradiction with this revised Hawking - Nature, expressed and recently published view of Black Holes as one where "Hawking's radical proposal is a much more benign “apparent horizon”, which only temporarily holds matter and energy prisoner before eventually releasing them, albeit in a more garbled form. ... “There is no escape from a black hole in classical theory, but quantum theory enables energy and information to escape.”" - www.nature.com/news/stephen-hawking-there-are-no-black-ho...
This holds with my above expressed cyclical expanding organic understanding of the Universe that includes micro and macro Black Holes reprocessing matter into so much fresh young 'Star power' in a semi or Quasi - Steady State Universe.
Final thoughts for 'Bonus Points': if the"Most Precise Snapshot of the Universe" www.sciencenews.org/article/most-precise-snapshot-univers... (Magazine issue: Vol. 186 No. 13, December 27, 2014), can be reconciled and correctly interpreted by means of the above point of view applied to the data so as to remove the mystery from this picture such that; "Planck may be able to rule out some theories about the nature of dark matter, which continues to evade direct detection."
Not in this interpretation, with the above explanation the micro to macro of Time and Space is becoming more focused in a expanding Universe perhaps, better understood, as more becomes known by research read and, comprehended - - because;

Edit -11/22/2018
The economic downturn may mean that you are thinking of retraining as an alternative healer. You might be tempted to invest your redundancy money or savings in training courses and equipment. Think again. It may be far cheaper and much more lucrative to invent your own brand new form of quackery. Most forms of alternative medicine are at most only a few decades old or have only become popular recently. If others can become famous and wealthy by doing this, why can’t you?
Here is the Quackometer’s Guide to inventing a new branch of alternative medicine in ten easy to digest and holistic tips:
1. Minimise specific effects
Right. Let’s get one thing out of the way. Your newly designed alternative medicine is very unlikely to actually work. Progress in medicine does not happen with people just making stuff up, but instead relies on remarkable insight, careful analysis, detailed research and long and expensive clinical trials, with lots of false starts and wrong turns before progress is made. You will not have the time, inclination, money or intellect for this.
So, with little chance of being able to offer real benefit to your clients, the best you can do is to ensure you do as little as harm as possible. To this end, make sure your new quackery is inert, neutral and inconsequential in action. Take your inspiration from existing and successful alternative medicine. Homeopathy is just plain sugar pills. Acupuncture is just little pin pricks. Reiki is just hand waving. Bach Flower Remedies is just a few drops of brandy. Reflexology is just a foot massage. Even chiropractic is just a vigorous body rub.
If you make the mistake of delivering real effects, then you may well be found out and your new business will come to sticky end. That is why we do not see old sorts of quackery anymore such as blood letting and trepanning.
2. Maximise placebo effects
Make your treatment theatrical. Make your customer feel as if they have been listened to, been taken seriously, and then had lots of effort made on them to create a cure. This will ensure any available placebo effect is maximised. People will feel better about themselves if you make the effort. We know that the more dramatic the intervention, the greater any placebo effect will be.
So, spend at least an hour with your customer, asking lots of detailed questions, just like a homeopath. Use arcane terms and be thoroughly paternalistic, just like an old-fashioned doctor. Wear a white coat and have a brass plaque outside your spick and span clinic – just like a chiropractor. Get an impressive Harley Street address. Use equipment with dials and flashing lights. Take x-rays. Put certificates on your wall and, if you are doing well, have attractive receptionists. Give the impression you are creating your cure just for this patient. They are special. Make them feel so.
3. Choose what you want to cure carefully
The bread and butter illnesses for alternative medicine are the self-limiting (hayfever, flu, morning sickness) and the chronic but variable and cyclical (bad backs, arthritis, mild depression). The number one reason for people believing in alternative medicine is that it ‘works for them’. What this means is that their particular complaint just happened to improve sometime after rubbing whatever magic beans they had chosen.
Chronic illnesses are ideal – they represent repeat business. Bad backs are a classic. People will come to you when their backs are really playing up. Cast your spells, crack their bones and stick a pin in them and their pain will become less noticable. It will have gone away anyway. But now you have a loyal and evangelical customer. Correlation is causation to your customer. “Regression to the mean” is your friend. Understand it and use it.
Have excuses ready if things are not quite getting better yet – or even if things are getting worse. Homeopaths expect to see ‘aggravations’, that is, things getting worse before they get better. To them, it is more proof that the sugar pills are ‘working’. Have a story ready for every outcome, good or bad. Never admit you have failed.
Avoid illnesses with obvious end points, like death. Getting payment may be the least of your problems. If you want to be heroic and tackle illnesses like AIDS and cancer, best do it offshore. Find a country with fewer regulations, much lower standards of healthcare and more vulnerable people. Homeopaths tend to go to Africa to treat AIDS or prevent malaria. They might be imprisoned here. Find a nice spot in Spain for treating cancer. Or Mexico, if you are from the US.
Invent a ‘wellness’ programme. Tell people you can help them even if they are feeling fine. It’s preventative, you see. Chiropractors are masters at roping people into prolonged, expensive and unnecessary treatment programmes, all in the name of ‘wellness’. Nutritionists ensure people are popping highly ‘personalised’ lists of vitamin and mineral pills and creating a continuous and easy revenue stream for you.
Perhaps the most lucrative path is to invent illnesses. Create your own problems, diagnostic techniques and cures and you can provide an end-to-end service of imaginary illnesses and cures. The Detox industry has thrived on this. Food intolerances and allergies have made shed loads for vitamin pill sellers. Electrosensitives have been sold millions of pounds worth of useless EMF trinkets and neutralising boxes. People love their daily aches and pains, tiredness and mood swings to have a name and to have something to blame. You can provide a wonderful service by filling in the gaps for them.
4. Embrace the language of quackery
It is compulsory that you start using a few alternative medicine terms. ‘Holistic’ is probably the most important one. It will mark you out as a caring alternative type who wants to get to the ‘real’ causes of your illness, rather than superficial, but ‘money spinning’ ones, like viruses, genes and your smoking habit.
It does not really matter how monomaniacal your treatment is. All homeopaths ever do is dish out sugar pills and blame problems with your vital force. Acupuncturists stick pins in you and blame blocked Chi. A chiropractor will crack bones, even if you have an ear infection, and blame subluxations. Toxins cause all illness. So do parasites, acidic blood, vitamin and mineral depletion, miasms, vibrations, whatever. Pick one and stick to it. Describe yourself as holistic. No one will notice that you are the exact opposite.
‘Natural’ is another compulsory word. Do not trouble yourself that your treatment is completely unnatural. Vitamin pill sellers claim naturalness, despite their ‘food’ being the most highly processed and ‘space age’ form of nutrition imaginable. Be careful about what sort of ‘naturalness’ you highlight. Bach Flower Remedies work because they embrace the ‘goodness’ of the countryside hedgerow flowers. As John Diamond remarked, the public imagination might not have been quite so transfixed by ‘Bach Spider Remedies’.
Avoid using the term ‘alternative’ to describe your ‘medicine’. It is very 20th Century, and also frightens a potential lucrative source of income – government and insurance companies. Even ‘complementary’ medicine is falling out of favour. The hot button is ‘Integrative’. You want your business integrated with the health care provision of the state and private sectors. There is lucre there beyond your wildest fantasies – and the respectability of state endorsement. You do not want to be an alternative to a real doctor. Nor do you want to be complementary to them (some may see this as secondary and inferior). No, you want to be a ‘choice’ – a ‘lifestyle choice’ for the modern health consumer, and they can select you from within a single integrated market. Choice is the biggest biggest buzz word in healthcare politics in the UK. Make sure you offer it. People critising you will look like they are restricting consumer choice – always a bad thing.
5. Adopt the victim posture
Sooner or later, you may be asked why your new medicine has not been more wildly accepted and recognised by the medical establishment. The answer is simple: you are being suppressed by that very establishment. A powerful cabal of vested interests is trying to prevent the public from knowing about your discoveries and successes. ‘Big Pharma’ is the bogey man here. Use them to frighten the child in your customer. Highlight medicine’s failings and side effects and never mention their successes. If a critic highlights the successes of medicine, deny them and blame sanitation or fresh vegetables, or something. Under no circumstances, should you ever admit that a vaccination might be a good thing.
Say your invention cannot be patented and commercialised. No one can make money out of it (apart from you, but don’t mention that).
If a critic asks you for evidence about your treatment, then do anything but answer the direct question. Scream that the questioner is closed minded and probably a shill from Big Pharma. Say that your patients’ successes are all the proof you need. Claim that your technique does not lend itself well to ‘conventional’ scientific testing. But if some dodgy paper does exist, then wave it around furiously, despite just having claimed that science cannot measure what you do.
6. Wear the mantle of science
People love science. They do not understand it, but they love the authority of science. Most people form opinions based on various authorities in their life. So, embrace the authority of scientific language, but ignore the methods of science – the methods may show you are speaking hogwash. Your customers will not be interested in the details. They will never check references or take the time to understand what you mean. But they will be impressed by science experts and scientific language.
Quantum physics is your friend. Few people have any appreciation of it. And you can use the language of quantum physics to form cod explanations for whatever you like. Prefix the word ‘quantum’ to your treatment name. It sounds really impressive. Tell critics that they are stuck in a ‘Newtonian paradigm’ and that it is the quantum physicists that are really understanding what you do. Get a postmodernist sociologist to write some quantum gobbledegook to back up your claims. They will have no qualms – after all, science is just another ‘text’ and all viewpoints are valid. Another good trick is to claim foreign scientists back up your work. This makes it much harder to check. Russian science is a good bet – especially Russian scientists working on the space programme. Failing that, Chinese science is an excellent alternative, or even obscure Eastern European Universities. Cheeky people claim NASA pioneered their work. Few check.
Adopt the forms, behaviours and appearances of scientists. Once you get going, hold seminars and conferences. Book rooms in real universities to add kudos to the meeting. Remember to always book university rooms in the Medicine or Pharmacology departments, and never in Engineering, English literature or Law. Create a learned journal and publish ‘peer reviewed’ articles. However, never talk about data – that would be getting to be too close to real science. And you want to avoid that like the plague.
7. Envelop yourself in ancient origins
Having embraced the authority of science, you should also delve back into the historical origins of your treatments. Do not say that you have discovered your techniques – rather you have rediscovered them. Most alternative medicine has only really been around for the last fifty to a hundred years or so. Even Traditional Chinese Medicine was packaging and refinement made in communist China and then exported to the world.
Take a leaf out of the Ear Candling trade. They picked on an obscure American Indian tribe on which to base their claims of antiquity. Despite the Hopi writing to the manufacturers to deny the claims and to request they stop using their name, nothing has changed. People like to think they are tapping into ‘ancient wisdom’ and more ‘natural’ health approaches. Preferably use an Oriental connection. This is much more beguiling (and also harder to check). Ear acupuncture was invented in France and reflexology in America. Both are now found as part of the ‘traditional’ Chinese repertoire.
You may base your technique on some genuinely old practices like herbalism or acupuncture. But always overplay your ancientness. Acupuncture is claimed to be thousands of years old, despite thin steel needles not being invented until the seventeenth century and the first acupuncture point charts appearing at the same time. (Ancient China used bloodletting techniques with sharp flint blades – and this has been ‘re-interpreted’ as acupuncture).
8. Adorn yourself with titles and awards
Chiropractors love to put a brass plate outside of their office with the title ‘Dr’ on it, despite them not being medically qualified or having a higher research degree. It works though, so use it. People believe chiropractic to be some sort of medical discipline. If you do adopt the title ‘Dr’, it is also compulsory in alternative medicine circles to suffix your name with Ph.D too. It is a giveaway that you are a quack to sceptics, but your customers will be thoroughly impressed.
If you do not have a PhD then do not worry too much. There are correspondence courses where you can get one for a few thousand quid. A wise investment. Gillian McKeith was unlucky in being caught out. Chances are, you will not be. If you really have balls, just style yourself Dr anyway. It is not a protected title – it is yours to use.
But don’t stop there. How about Professor? You might get lucky, like Patrick Holford did for a while, and get invited by a minor university to teach. The title ‘Visiting Professor’ is so grand. Even easier, claim you are a professor from a very obscure overseas university. If it has burnt down and no longer has a web site, your claim is impossible to check. It will still get you onto the comfy sofas of day-time TV.
Awards are also impressive. Get someone to nominate you for a Nobel Prize. Anyone can do this. They may not accept your nomination, but hey? It is compulsory in alternative medicine circles to be nominated more than once, so you can describe yourself as ‘three times nominated for the Nobel Prize’. The Nobel Committee does not publish lists of nominees for understandable reasons. Otherwise, they would have to list my cat who I have annually nominated for the Economics prize.
9. Create two web sites and embrace weasel words
Legal matters need some attention. But not much. If you are selling through a web site, best not make too many bold claims about the effectiveness of your treatments. Trading Standards Authorities may come down on you like a ton of bricks. There is an easy way out: create two web sites. On the first, make as many bold claims as you like. Create a newsletter and ‘Health Club’. Fill your site with all your speculative and unproven nonsense. But, whatever you do, do not sell your product – maybe, just a few books. What you are doing is creating a ‘brand’. Then, set up a second, apparently unconnected site, that sells whatever you like and trades on your brand, but makes only very bland claims and no real claims to effectiveness. Easy. Sometimes, the web is so full of nonsense that might support the sale of your daft product, you do not need the first site: just tell punters to Google it, like Julian Graves does.
Be careful what you say in advertising. Do not claim to be able to cure things. Instead, claim to ‘treat’ illnesses. You may be totally unsuccessful, but you are not lying. Your punter will not notice the subtle difference between treating and curing. Learn lessons from Chinese High Street Herbalists who simply list ailments on the windows of their shops whilst making no claims whatsoever. Look at the Society of Homeopaths for their excellent exposition of weasel words.
10. Create a training programme and set up a regulator
Finally, to rake in true wonga, do not just sit around waiting for your next mark to visit you and hand over fifty quid. Real money is made by training others in your new practice. Set up a correspondence course and training programme. Set up an ‘Institute’ and award diplomas and certificates. A very minor university may even accredit you. It does not matter that your course is just made up idiocy, all that matters to Universities is that paying students will attend. They will tick the boxes to show that you are properly setting ‘learning objectives’ and ‘assessment strategies’ and you are away. Chiropractors have this one sown up with Universities underwriting their degrees. Take a lesson from them and ensure you tell your students that they are getting an equivalent ‘post graduate’ education to a medical doctor, even if this is patently false. Also, learn from chiropractors and spend half the time teaching them good business practices. You do not want your students to fail commercially.
Writing training materials may be hard work. You could follow the Reiki method, which is essentially a pyramid scam. Reiki practitioners are ‘trained’ by having a previously trained Reiki healer ‘attune’ them – essentially, wave their hands over them in a special way. Fees get passed back up the chain. They can then go on to ‘attune’ other people – usually ex-customers. Marvellous.
Then you can really kick off with the accreditation thing. ‘Skills for Health’, the government training quango, can then develop National Occupational Standards for you, just like they are doing for Homeopathy and Reiki. It matters not one jot that these subjects are pseudoscientific balderdash, you can gain nationally accredited skills training programmes in your new money spinning exercise.
Finally, all good alternative medicine should have a ‘regulator’. To the public, it will look like their chosen healer is being monitored for the efficacy and safety of their work. To you, it is a good advertising device and channel for new customers. There are hundreds of regulators for alternative medicine in the UK. All have one thing in common – they will never condemn or criticise any of your practices, or strike you off for anything other than sexual misconduct – and then, at a push. You will be safe to do what you like without fear of being judged by the ‘regulator’.
Even the UK government will provide this sort of service to you. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, or Ofquack, was set up this year by Prince Charles and his Foundation for Integrated Health and a government grant of £900,000 to be a ‘one stop shop’ regulator for all manner of quacks. However, they have made it quite clear that they are not interested if the treatments actually work, but only if the member has been trained in their alternative medicine and have insurance cover. It matters not at all that the training might be utterly delusional and result in dangerous advice to customers. All the boxes have been ticked.
And so there you are. Not too hard. Finally, the best top tip I can give you is for you to find a way to start believing in your own bullshit. You will appear far more convincing to people if you believe yourself. As Richard Feynman said “The first principle [in science] is that you must not fool yourself — and you are the easiest person to fool”. If you are not interested in truth then hurry along and get fooling yourself. It should be easy. Once you have done that, fooling everyone else is a doddle.
Good luck, and check back on these pages for when I write about you.

The Time It Takes Falling Bodies To Catch Light ~
Creator, Judge or Architect?
There Is a Sanity Clause!
“So tell me,” O’Grady asks with a glint in his eye, “do you believe in God?” The black snake venom is coursing through my bloodstream and organs and his eyes are glowing in the semi-darkness.
He swirls in my blurring vision as the reply rises full-blown from my heart without pause for censorship or amendment; “When most people ask that question, I get the impression they don’t mean ‘is there a creator?’ – they really mean ‘is there a Judge?’.” He meets my gaze levelly. “That’s a very penetrating insight,” he says, “very Jesuitical.” My heart doesn’t pause to bask in the glow of flattered pride but continues to pour out of my mouth; “The question has more than one answer, depending on what you really mean. I don’t believe that you mean ‘is there a Judge?’ – but let me answer that one first anyway.” We’re both sitting cross-legged and I shift around to face him more directly.
“There’s only one judge that counts, and at the moment of your death your eyes are riveted open to every act and deed you’ve ever done, stripped bare before the completely aware gaze of a conscience that’s more penetrating and aware than you could believe. You are your own worst and best judge, stripping yourself to the core.
“But at the same timeless time you’re also suffused with the very spirit of parental compassion, so your judgment of yourself is an admixture of Severity and Mercy, if you like.” I touch my left shoulder with my thumb held between my first two fingers and draw a line across to my right. “Those are the names of these two Sephiras of the Tree of Life, by the by, translated from ancient Hebrew – I prefer ‘Clarity and Compassion’ myself…” O’Grady nods slowly, trailing afterimages in the gloom while my mouth continues moving and my voicebox keeps vibrating as the venom flares in my foot and spreads into my brain.
“So you are the judge, the best you could ever hope for – who knows thee more intimately than thine own conscience? And from that immortal perspective beyond time – beyond matter and space you’re beyond time as well, beyond time’s well…” The memory of my deaths return in full-blown Technicolor and quintaphonic Dolby; “…you decide whether you’ve created a perfect pattern or not – one that satisfies your expanded esthetic and ethical senses, the heart that balances the feather of truth.” Psychedelic images begin feathering inward from the periphery of my vision and it becomes increasingly difficult to focus. I concentrate on deepening my breath and slowing my pulse as my voice goes on and on;
“But more than that – from the true perspective of immortal Justice, the obvious macrocosmic truth is revealed – the secret of all enlightenment – that everyone is everyone and everything you do to anyone is something literally done to yourself. In that moment of crystal-clear awareness karma is something obvious and ever-present, and the only important thing – the only thing relevant to your blown open mind – is the impressions you’ve made on other beings, the links you have to others.
“And you decide whether you’ve lived life as best you could, or fallen short of your own abilities. You keep coming back until you’ve done it – I don’t want to use the word ‘right’, because of all the polarised connotations, and ‘correct’ is no better – but you decide to return to the Wheel until you’ve done it right by yourself, and all your selves. Then you have a further choice to explore something else entirely, or not.
“You may even decide to come back here again anyway, to help out.
“But if you want the short version,” I ramble on, “you are the Judge, Jury, Prosecutor, Defender, Executioner and Redeemer. Don’t accept any substitutes.” I need water to dilute and process the foreign proteins spilling through my blood, but the oxygen-rich air of the rainforest does nicely at present.
O’Grady nods and strokes his emerging beard, smiling into my blur. He’s a Saracen and a Viking, a Highlander and a Persian. “All right then,” he nods, “do you believe there’s a Creator?”
My hallucinating mind reviews the massed ranks of distant primate people who will cast me into imaginary hellfire or oblivion if my answer is negative – but this translucent vision doesn’t slow my open heart. A deep breath fills my lungs.
“On the one hand I side with the Gnostics – before they were all slaughtered and burned at the stake they insisted that those who purport to be the Creator – like Jehovah, for instance, or Jupiter – are actually demons masquerading as the One True God. But it gets complex – the ancients viewed the planets as gods and goddesses, remember, and many deeds and attributes ascribed to them are referents to planetary events, changes and catastrophes. Incidentally, ‘god’ is a pretty horrendous word for what we’re talking about, don’t you think?”
“I’ve always thought it pretty odd,” he agrees.
“Ugly,” I aver. “The Gnostics pointed out that no compassionate creator would ever do the things described in the old babbling books, and that any entity that did, was an ego-driven demon who should be ignored and driven out at all costs. The Gnostics went a little too far for my taste, claiming the universe itself was an evil cage – I understand their erroneous point of view, but in the long run they were a bit too nihilistic for their own good.” The Ark of the Covenant rears before my inner eye, resplendent and glowing with a blue aura of electrical charge. Before my mouth can wander in that direction my interlocutor intervenes, sparing us both a long digression. “Ah, yes, but – do you believe there’s a Creator?” O’Grady laughs.
“On the other hand,” I begin, “we’re talking about something not constrained by our primate templates of authority and awareness – and if it comes down to a choice between the archetypes of Sky Father and Earth Mother, these days I have to come down on the side of the Mother…” O’Grady laughs again. “I’m with you there, bro. It’s ‘Nungeena’ around here, right?”
“Great memory,” I congratulate him. “You got it the first time.”
“It’s just that where I first became exposed to this stuff, Her name was ‘Pacha Mama’.”
“Of course,” I smile.
“Nungeena,” he repeats as I nod. “But on the third hand,” I say, miming the emergence of another arm from my shoulder, “if you want to know what I really believe…” He leans forward as my voice drops. “How much do you know about, uh dimensional theory? Have you ever seen a hypercube?” O’Grady nods emphatically. “No,” I change my mind, “let’s start at the other end – it’s easier from down there.”
“Okay.” “You know there are an infinite number of points in any line?” I mime the action and a fluorescing trail of dot patterns laces the ground in the darkness while he nods. “And there are an infinite number of lines in any given plane, right?” I inscribe long lines at various angles on a scroll of parchment that appears in the nocturnal air.
The serpent poison is coming on strong and my foot is throbbing, swollen and red, but my monolog keeps me loosely bound to the world; I’m grateful to have an audience in this remote Paradise – and haven’t been condemned to merely sitting here alone and dealing with the poison while listening to all this stuff going around inside my head. I haven’t told him about the black snake yet – don’t want to worry him unduly. She will bruise thy heel…
“Well there are also an infinite number of planes in any solid, right?” I chop paths through an imaginary sphere from various angles, as it hovers between us like a small planetoid. O’Grady agrees. “And there are an infinite number of three-dimensional solids in hyperspace,” I conclude my series, sweeping my arms outward to indicate all the other spheres hovering in an immeasurable array that spreads away from us in all directions. “Virtual worlds from this point perspective, just as our universe is an illusion when viewed from theirs.”
For a moment I glimpse the view from hyperspace, from the fugue-riding perspective of the Crown Chakra, and all the spheres interpenetrate each other at various angles and progressions of mutual absorption – and then my mouth keeps working around the cud of my words.
“So from that heightened perspective, from the view of a consciousness dwelling in hyperspace – not beyond or apart from this world but implicately involved in everything here, as intrinsic as space or time – you could be aware of every sparrow that falls, every leaf on every tree and every thought in every being simultaneously. You could be aware of the flux of all the alternative timelines from a sufficient remove…
“It’s like this,” I continue as I see him attempt to imagine that view. I draw a circle on the ground between us. “From up here you can see everything inside that flat circle simultaneously, right? It’s all visible at once.”
“I see,” he says, and he does.
“Now, on the second last and penultimate hand in this trick deck, there’s another point or two I must make if you want a near-complete answer. There are those who draw a distinction between not only Judge and Creator, but also include an Architect in their triune pantheon…”
“Like the Egyptians with that dwarf character – what was his name?” He hands me a smoke.
“Ptah. Ta, thanks. That’s the one. “Around here he’s known as ‘Puntjal’ – pretty similar, considering. Here we have Nungeena (or Mother Nature, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Breath, the Nephesh) as well as Puntjal, the Architect of the Universe – and there’s also the indwelling Creator who dwells at the crown of your head, whose arms extend down through ours from the Dreaming, the Al Chera, Hyperspace, from the Crown of Creation, to work within the world and worlds. But I won’t speak his name here and now…”
“Fair enough. The Architect – ‘Puntjal’?”
“Perfect.” “So the geometric certainty of an interpenetrating series of interdimensional realities – not just some mathematical theory, but an infinitude of multiverses and a vast range of nesting dimensions – informs us that there must be, at very least, the likelihood of a Witness – a consciousness that is aware of everything in our little circle. Infinity is a pretty big place – infinity implies that anything we can imagine must actually exist somehow, somewhere, somewhen, on every scale…”
“So we have a Judge, an Architect, Mother Nature and a Witness – but what about a Creator?” he persists as I pass the smoke back to him.
“For a start, it’s all a hologram so you are already partaking of all of those forms of Godhood – your consciousness already extrudes into all the other dimensions, but we’re usually untrained to perceive or make use of any of them but the familiar ones that are useful to terrestrial primates. They’re all accessible, if you start young enough or are very fortunate or have enough focus and will power. The truth is, thou art God.” I’m pleased to see he doesn’t rebel at the prospect as a circlet of six-pointed stars surrounds his brow and an etheric topknot extrudes from the crown of his head.
“Now, if you really want to pin me down about a Creator – on the one octopoid tentacle, with an infinity of infinities to ponder, a Creator can’t be rendered impossible – and anything not impossible is not only probable, but likely – or even mandatory…”
“Anything not forbidden is compulsory.”
“Exactemundo, compadre.” And on the last tentacular extremity of all, interdimensional theory well understands how to create universes – we can do it in the lab, here at the dawn of the Third Millennium.”
“We can?”
“We can – I’ll explain how, if you like… do you know anything about Brane theory? M theory? Membrane theory?”
“Is this answering my question about a possible or probable Creator?”
“Okay then – you know how in current understandings of time travel, if you go back in time and kill your grandfather there’s no paradox at all?”
“You don’t snuff yourself out of existence then?”
“No – because when you leave the bubble of this hologram and enter another one, it is another one – times ain’t times and oils ain’t oils.
By entering another time stream the current belief is that you create a new time stream – although I differ on that point; I say that within infinity all virtual realities are equally real, and that the traveler is not a creator but just another vainglorious usurper of the title. These so-called ‘creator gods’ are simply stepping into a pre-existing continuum, not creating a new one at all. We don’t each simply create a new universe with each act of will, as postulated within the imagined constraints ascribed to quantum theory – we shift into a pre-existing virtual co-creation. There are an infinity of them.
“If you can imagine the sort of obsessive personality that wants to go back in time and change history – and not even their own history you understand – they know it’s a parallel history they’re tampering with but want to do it anyway – you’ll understand why a lot of the so-called ‘gods’ of the past have been such primitive control freaks.”
“Third Reichers and the like.”
“Precisely – and in some cases literally. Anyway, it’s all a variation on Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, if you like…”
“That’s where you can’t tell the velocity and trajectory of any subatomic particle at the same time?”
“That’s right – and the implications, as derived by modern physicists, are that the observer creates reality. So we’re all the Creator; manifest reality as we know it is a co-creation, combined from the various point perspectives of innumerable lifeforms in innumerable shapes, with utterly divergent environments and ways of viewing the universe. The manifest world is made by all the intersecting perspectives and wills of us all – and certainly not just those of human beings.
“The more diverse the range of lifeforms in a place, the more enduring the landform itself – and all other factors, like climate for instance. Life changes the odds in favour of itself – the evidence is all there if you take a look, all duly notarized and scientifically notated. Mind and will alter the odds, the flip of the dice, the spin of the electron, the intensity of the Sun, the trajectory of asteroids. You know what the native Americans say – the Web of Life holds it all together and each of us is a strand. “And if mind over matter is real – and it is – then all the other so-called psychic phenomena are equally real and accessible to us all.
“We’re creating it all, all the time. Everything’s an interpenetrating hologram and we’re all points of the same distributed consciousness, of the same – there has to be a better word than ‘oddgod’ – but if you’re looking for a Creator, look in the mirror,” I laugh, drawing a planar pane between us.
We grok. It groks.
“Okay,” he asks as pregnant Molki awakes from her drowsy slumber and leans against him. “What do you think gravity is?”
Step out of the chains binding your mind and life! Your parents and grandparents were happy and satisfied to be lied to by those who still get away with stealing the wealth and knowledge of the Earth (and everywhere else) for themselves – are you?
Turn on. Tune in. Opt OUT! You have nothing to lose but your blinkers. Security is only found within and true abundance comes only to those prepared to give everything away when they no longer need it.
Money is not abundance – it’s a tax on abundance! Why are you reading this? Why are you here? What is it that you need? Why do you need it? Who are you, really?

“So you are the judge, the best you could ever hope for – who knows thee more intimately than thine own conscience? And from that immortal perspective beyond time – beyond matter and space you’re beyond time as well, beyond time’s well…” The memory of my deaths return in full-blown Technicolor and quintaphonic Dolby; “…you decide whether you’ve created a perfect pattern or not – one that satisfies your expanded esthetic and ethical senses, the heart that balances the feather of truth.” Psychedelic images begin feathering inward from the periphery of my vision and it becomes increasingly difficult to focus. I concentrate on deepening my breath and slowing my pulse as my voice goes on and on;
“But more than that – from the true perspective of immortal Justice, the obvious macrocosmic truth is revealed – the secret of all enlightenment – that everyone is everyone and everything you do to anyone is something literally done to yourself.

The Hermetic philosophy says that " The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding ". For millennia the esoteric circles have been marked in this teaching to disseminate their information. Teachings were passed from master to disciple, disguised in various rituals and symbols. In this way, a certain book stands out for its teachings, which form the basis of all magic, the whole universe perceptible and imperceptible to our senses: The Kybalion . Written by one who calls himself The three started , it is a compilation of the teachings that (supposedly) came from ancient Egypt, by Hermes Trismegistus, who is perhaps the first of Avatars contribute to this planet.
Transcribe the text of the book itself the presentation of Hermes:
"Among the great Masters of Ancient Egypt, there was one that they hailed as the Master of Masters. This man, if indeed he was a man, lived in Egypt in ancient times. He was known under the name of Hermes Trismegistus. He was the father of the Occult, the founder of Astrology, the discoverer of Alchemy. The details of his life were lost due to the immense amount of time, which is thousands of years, and despite many ancient countries compete among themselves the honor of having been his home. The date of his sojourn in Egypt, in his last incarnation on this planet, is not now known, but it was fixed at the early days of the oldest dynasties of Egypt, very before the time of Moses. The best authorities regard him as a contemporary of Abraham, and some Jewish traditions say clearly that Abraham acquired a portion of his mystic knowledge from Hermes himself. Having spent many years of his passing from this plane of existence ( tradition states that he lived three hundred years), the Egyptians deified Hermes, and made him one of their gods, under the name of Thoth. Years later, the people of Ancient Greece also deified by the name of Hermes, the God of Wisdom . The Egyptians revered for many centuries his memory, calling it the messenger of the Gods, and bestowing upon him, distinctively, his ancient title Trismegistus , which means three times great, great among the greats.
In the early days, there was a compilation of certain Basic Hermetic Doctrines, passed on from master to disciple, which was known under the name of The Kybalion , whose exact meaning is lost for several centuries. This teaching, however, is known by several men who were passed from lip to ear, since many centuries. These precepts have never been written or printed, so far as we know. They were simply a collection of maxims, axioms, and precepts not understandable to outsiders, but were readily understood by students and, moreover, were then explained and exemplified by the Hermetic Initiates to their Neophytes. "
A Master is not measured by the number of followers, or who speak it, but what he says and does. In the case of Hermes, all we have is the Kybalion, but this "little book" of 56 pages is of such depth and grandeur that I shudder to write about it. The book deals with the seven hermetic principles, stated in The Kybalion as initiates comment on them.
The Principles of Truth are Seven; one who knows perfectly possesses the Magic Key, with which all the doors of the Temple fly open.
(The Kybalion)
These are the Principle of Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect and Gender. Take the first transcribed the book:
I. The Principle of Mentalism
THE ALL is MIND, the Universe is Mental
(The Kybalion)
This Principle explains that everything is mental , that THE ALL is Spirit , is unknowable and indefinable in itself, but may be considered as a living mind infinite and universal . Also teaches that all the phenomenal world or universe is simply a Mental Creation of THE ALL, subject to the Laws of Created Things, and that the universe as a whole in its parts or units, has its existence in the Mind of THE ALL, in which Mind we live and move and have our being. This Principle, by establishing the Mental Nature of the Universe, it explains the mental and psychic phenomena that occupy much of public attention, and that without such an explanation would be unintelligible and defy scientific examination.
This Principle explains the true nature of force, Energy and Matter, how and why they are all subordinate to the Mastery of Mind. An old Hermetic Masters wrote, long ago: "He who understands the truth of the Mental Nature of the Universe is well advanced on the Path to Mastery.

We see here a correspondence with one of the basic principles of quantum physics, the coherent superposition . But what is it?
When an electron (or any other particle) is observed, it presents with well-defined physical properties: it is located at a precise point in space at a given time, and their attributes can be measured (within certain limits set by the principle Heisenberg's uncertainty). Before the measurement is made, however, these properties and attributes do not exist. What exists is only the probability that the electron present such and such characteristics as well as other characteristics that are opposite. That is, the electron can either be at point x and at y or at the point z, and so on for each of your attributes (speed, angular momentum, spin, etc.).. Before we measure the electrons, all these attributes are interwoven, and it is this intermingling that produces waves of probability. Physicists call this the wave function or coherent superposition , because in this state, the odds of the electron overlap each other. During the act of measuring the entanglement vanishes and, among all possible sets of attributes to the electron, only one becomes "real." This time the superposition of waves vanishes is called the collapse of the wave function . While the electron is not measured, it has no specific characteristics. It is the measure that creates the characteristics of the electron, and thus in a sense, it is my observation that creates the electron. In other words, the reality I perceive is created by my perception. ( source )
A particle, something we think is solid, there is overlap in what we call, sparking a wave of possible locations, all at the same time. And when you look, it is now possible in only one of the positions. That is, things only become constants when you look at them. When it did not look like a wave, when we look at is as a particle.
The overlap means that a particle can be in two or more places at once.
It's a very bizarre concept, but it is a cornerstone of quantum physics. This finding made the renowned physicist Stephen Hawking asked: The distinction (between the real and imaginary) is only in our minds?
Article in The Quantum Revolution and High Energy Physics , Roberto Claudio, we see that in reality, science can not prove that a subatomic particle exists to detect it before, not knowing where it will come, but to say that there is a probability it exists and to appear at a particular location. Four hypotheses try to explain this "measurement problem":
The Copenhagen interpretation says that this probability is all we can and what there is to know, is something totally random to know where the particle appears (the theory advocated by Niels Bohr and Werner Eisenberg),
The hidden variable theory says that quantum events do not are purely random, but that particles arise in a particular place for reasons that we have yet to discover hidden (advocated by Einstein, David Bohm and others),
The Many Worlds Hypothesis states that when a particle appears in one location, all other probabilities of occurrences happen in other universes entirely different. This hypothesis, although fantastic, was developed a very sophisticated mathematical style (proposed by Everett, Wheeler and Graham);
The connection Matter / Mind says it's possible that the very mind of the observer in the act of measurement, influence the manifestation of the event; the mind would be the factor that would interfere with the onset of the appearance and location of subatomic particles or even create (backed up by Eugene Paul Wigner, Jack Sarfatti, and Walker Muses).
Einstein, who favored the second theory, on the first screamed, " God does not play dice with the universe! ". The unpredictability of quantum was too much for him to accept, although Bohr and others, using their own theories of Einstein, explain all your objections. The dispute between the first two theories meant to prove that quantum mechanics was unpredictable or determined, and the last two betrayed that if the first were true, my mind would be able to choose my destiny, of all existing probabilities ( free will). So far science has been proving (successfully) the first theory.
Everything we call real is made of things that can not be considered real
(Niels Bohr)
In the movie What the bleep do we know we see the physicist Amit Goswami explain: " The world has many potential forms of reality, to choose from. But as an object can have two states at once? Instead of thinking about things like possibilities, we have the habit of thinking that things around us are objects that already exist without my input, without my choice. You need to ban this form of thinking, has to recognize that even the material world around us - chairs , tables, rooms, rugs - are nothing but possible movements of consciousness, all the time and I am choosing these movements moments to express my current experience.
It's something we need to understand that radical, but it is very difficult, because we think the world exists independent of my experience. Not so, and quantum physics is clear. The very Eisenberg , after the discovery of quantum physics, said that atoms are not objects, are trends. Instead of thinking about objects, you should think in possibilities.
Everything possible is subconsciously " .
But speaking of particles does little to explain the consequences of quantum physics, so let's find a more easy-going, I found an article of Scientifc American: get a playing card with a perfectly sharp edge and try to balance it over the edge on a table. According to classical physics, the letter will remain, in principle, balanced forever. However, according to quantum physics (Schrödinger's wave function), the card will fall in a few seconds, even if you do your best to balance it - and both fall for the two sides , right and left. When it puts into practice this experiment with an actual card, it is concluded that classical physics is wrong: even if the letter falls. But what we see is that it falls to the right or left, seemingly at random, and never to the right and left at the same time as the Schrodinger equation would have us believe. This contradiction goes to the very heart of one of the most original and enduring mysteries of quantum mechanics.
Many Worlds
In the mid-50, U.S. Hugh Everett III, then a student at Princeton University, decided to review the collapse postulate in his doctoral thesis. He took the idea to the quantum limit, with the following question: "What would happen if the time evolution of the entire universe is always unitary?" In this scenario, the wave function evolves in a deterministic way, leaving no room for the mysterious collapse of non-unitary or God playing dice. In this case, our quantum card would really be in two places at once. Moreover, a person who was looking at the card would enter a superposition of two different mental states, each one seeing the results. If you bet money on the hunch that the letter would fall face up, a superposition would smile and frown, because the bet to win and lose simultaneously. Everett's brilliant insight that the observers in such a deterministic (but schizophrenic) quantum world could perceive the plain old reality with which we are familiar. More importantly, they perceive an apparent randomness, obeying the correct probability rules. The view became known as the Everett many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, because each component of which is a superposition observer recognizes or perceives its own world . When removing the collapse postulate, this viewpoint simplifies the underlying theory. But the price one pays for this simplicity is the conclusion that these parallel perceptions of reality are equally real.
Everett's work was ignored for nearly two decades. Many physicists were confident that would appear to show a fundamental theory that the world was, after all, classic in some sense, no weirdness like "a body being in two places at once." But a whole series of new experiments would put an end to that expectation. The experiment of "delayed choice", proposed by Max Tegmark and John Archibald Wheeler, showing another feature of the quantum world that defies classical description: not only one photon can be in two places at once, but the experimenter can choose after the event, if the photon was in two places or just one. In short, the verdict of experience is: the weirdness of the quantum world is real, like it or not.
Even in the movie What the bleep ... , see Jeffrey Satinover talking about it: "Now you can see in many U.S. laboratories by objects that are large enough to be seen with the naked eye and are in two places simultaneously. You can even take a picture of it! I suppose if you showed this picture, people would say ' Great, I can see the colored light, a little there, a bit ... here is a picture of two dots, which is too much? I see two things. " No, It's one thing in two places at once. I think people do not impress, because I think they do not believe. Not to say that I am a liar, or that scientists are confused. I think it's not so mysterious you can understand how amazing it is.'ve all seen Star Trek and the teleportation, then ask, ' But who cares, what does that mean? " But we have to stop and think about what that really means. It's the same object and it is in two places at once! "
Returning to the Article of Scientific American , we see that the work of Everett left a crucial question: if the real world is so bizarre macroscopic superpositions, why do not we perceive them? The answer came in 1970 through an article by Heinz Dieter Zeh of the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He showed that the Schrödinger equation gives rise to the effect of decoherence . Our letter overthrow quantum is always receiving the impact of busybody photons and air molecules, which can prove whether the letter fell to the right or left, thereby destroying the superposition and making it unobservable.
That is, the world is always contributing to remain in the illusion that things are "normal", ie, that the letter will fall to only one side up, more or less as agents of the Matrix ensure that human remain in ignorance (as at the end of the episode haunted house in the Animatrix ). Any resemblance to the Buddhist theory of Maya is not a coincidence.
It is as if the environment play the role of observer, collapsing the wave function (a simple molecule of air is enough). For all practical purposes, this tiny interaction changes the superposition to a classical situation in the twinkling of an eye. But as a photon can play the role of "observer"? It requires a "conscience", a "trial" to interfere with reality? Then the photon is also part of consciousness?! And here we go back to Buddhism, where everything, absolutely everything is alive and has consciousness .
The general notions about human understanding (...) illustrated by the discoveries of atomic physics are far from being something entirely unknown, unheard, again. These notions have a history in our own culture, enjoying a more prominent and central position in Hindu or Buddhist thought. What we face is just an illustration of an encouragement and a refinement of old wisdom.
(Robert Oppenheimer, father of the atomic bomb)
The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion, based on experience, which refuses dogmatism. If there is any religion that could cope with scientific needs, it would be Buddhism.
(Albert Einstein)
The theory of decoherence explains why do not routinely see quantum superpositions in the world around. Not because quantum mechanics intrinsically stops working for objects larger than a certain size magic. In fact, it is virtually impossible to macroscopic objects like cats and playing cards, isolated from a distance that prevents non-coherence. Microscopic objects, by contrast, are more easily separable from its environment and thus retain their quantum behavior.
If we seek a parallel to the lesson of atomic theory, we must turn to those kinds of epistemological problems with which we faced in the past, thinkers like Buddha and Lao Tzu, in his attempt to harmonize our position as spectators and actors in the great drama of existence.
(Niels Bohr, father of quantum mechanics)

The Physics of Time Travel
Is it real, or is it fable?
In H.G. Wells’ novel, The Time Machine, our protagonist jumped into a special chair with blinking lights, spun a few dials, and found himself catapulted several hundred thousand years into the future, where England has long disappeared and is now inhabited by strange creatures called the Morlocks and Eloi. That may have made great fiction, but physicists have always scoffed at the idea of time travel, considering it to be the realm of cranks, mystics, and charlatans, and with good reason.
However, rather remarkable advances in quantum gravity are reviving the theory; it has now become fair game for theoretical physicists writing in the pages of Physical Review magazine. One stubborn problem with time travel is that it is riddled with several types of paradoxes.
For example, there is the paradox of the man with no parents, i.e. what happens when you go back in time and kill your parents before you are born? Question: if your parents died before you were born, then how could you have been born to kill them in the first place?
There is also the paradox of the man with no past. For example, let’s say that a young inventor is trying futilely to build a time machine in his garage. Suddenly, an elderly man appears from nowhere and gives the youth the secret of building a time machine. The young man then becomes enormously rich playing the stock market, race tracks, and sporting events because he knows the future. Then, as an old man, he decides to make his final trip back to the past and give the secret of time travel to his youthful self.
Question: where did the idea of the time machine come from?
There is also the paradox of the man who is own mother (my apologies to Heinlein.) “Jane” is left at an orphanage as a foundling. When “Jane” is a teenager, she falls in love with a drifter, who abandons her but leaves her pregnant. Then disaster strikes. She almost dies giving birth to a baby girl, who is then mysteriously kidnapped. The doctors find that Jane is bleeding badly, but, oddly enough, has both sex organs.
So, to save her life, the doctors convert “Jane” to “Jim.”“Jim” subsequently becomes a roaring drunk, until he meets a friendly bartender (actually a time traveler in disguise) who wisks “Jim” back way into the past. “Jim” meets a beautiful teenage girl, accidentally gets her pregnant with a baby girl. Out of guilt, he kidnaps the baby girl and drops her off at the orphanage. Later, “Jim” joins the time travelers corps, leads a distinguished life, and has one last dream: to disguise himself as a bartender to meet a certain drunk named “Jim” in the past.
Question: who is “Jane’s” mother, father, brother, sister, grand- father, grandmother, and grandchild?
Not surprisingly, time travel has always been considered impossible. After all, Newton believed that time was like an arrow; once fired, it soared in a straight, undeviating line. One second on the earth was one second on Mars. Clocks scattered throughout the universe beat at the same rate. Einstein gave us a much more radical picture. According to Einstein, time was more like a river, which meandered around stars and galaxies, speeding up and slowing down as it passed around massive bodies. One second on the earth was Not one second on Mars. Clocks scattered throughout the universe beat to their own distant drummer.
However, before Einstein died, he was faced with an embarrassing problem. Einstein’s neighbor at Princeton, Kurt Goedel, perhaps the greatest mathematical logician of the past 500 years, found a new solution to Einstein’s own equations which allowed for time travel! The “river of time” now had whirlpools in which time could wrap itself into a circle. Goedel’s solution was quite ingenious: it postulated a universe filled with a rotating fluid. Anyone walking along the direction of rotation would find themselves back at the starting point, but backwards in time!
In his memoirs, Einstein wrote that he was disturbed that his equations contained solutions that allowed for time travel. But he finally concluded: the universe does not rotate, it ex- pands (i.e. as in the Big Bang theory) and hence Goedel’s solution could be thrown out for “physical reasons.” (Apparently, if the Big Bang was rotating, then time travel would be possible throughout the universe!)
Then in 1963, Roy Kerr, a New Zealand mathematician, found a solution of Einstein’s equations for a rotating black hole, which had bizarre properties. The black hole would not collapse to a point (as previously thought) but into a spinning ring (of neutrons). The ring would be circulating so rapidly that centrifugal force would keep the ring from collapsing under gravity. The ring, in turn, acts like the Looking Glass of Alice. Anyone walking through the ring would not die, but could pass through the ring into an alternate universe.
Since then, hundreds of other “wormhole” solutions have been found to Einstein’s equations. These wormholes connect not only two regions of space (hence the name) but also two regions of time as well. In principle, they can be used as time machines.Recently, attempts to add the quantum theory to gravity (and hence create a “theory of everything”) have given us some insight into the paradox problem. In the quantum theory, we can have multiple states of any object.
For example, an electron can exist simultaneously in different orbits (a fact which is responsible for giving us the laws of chemistry). Similarly, Schrodinger’s famous cat can exist simultaneously in two possible states: dead and alive. So by going back in time and altering the past, we merely create a parallel universe. So we are changing someone ELSE’s past by saving, say, Abraham Lincoln from being assassinated at the Ford Theater, but our Lincoln is still dead. In this way, the river of time forks into two separate rivers.
But does this mean that we will be able to jump into H.G. Wells’ machine, spin a dial, and soar several hundred thousand years into England’s future? No. There are a number of difficult hurdles to overcome.
First, the main problem is one of energy. In the same way that a car needs gasoline, a time machine needs to have fabulous amounts of energy. One either has to harness the power of a star, or to find something called “exotic” matter (which falls up, rather than down) or find a source of negative energy. (Physicists once thought that negative energy was impossible. But tiny amounts of negative energy have been experimentally verified for something called the Casimir effect, i.e. the energy created by two parallel plates). All of these are exceedingly difficult to obtain in large quantities, at least for several more centuries!
Then there is the problem of stability. The Kerr black hole, for example, may be unstable if one falls through it. Similarly, quantum effects may build up and destroy the wormhole before you enter it. Unfortunately, our mathematics is not powerful enough to answer the question of stability because you need a “theory of everything” which combines both quantum forces and gravity. At present, superstring theory is the leading candidate for such a theory (in fact, it is the ONLY candidate; it really has no rivals at all). But superstring theory, which happens to be my specialty, is still to difficult to solve completely. The theory is well-defined, but no one on earth is smart enough to solve it.
Interestingly enough, Stephen Hawking once opposed the idea of time travel. He even claimed he had “empirical” evidence against it. If time travel existed, he said, then we would have been visited by tourists from the future. Since we see no tourists from the future, ergo: time travel is not possible. Because of the enormous amount of work done by theoretical physicists within the last 5 years or so, Hawking has since changed his mind, and now believes that time travel is possible (although not necessarily practical). (Furthermore, perhaps we are simply not very interesting to these tourists from the future. Anyone who can harness the power of a star would consider us to be very primitive. Imagine your friends coming across an ant hill. Would they bend down to the ants and give them trinkets, books, medicine, and power? Or would some of your friends have the strange urge to step on a few of them?)
In conclusion, don’t turn someone away who knocks at your door one day and claims to be your future great-great-great grandchild. They may be right.

Dean's Honored Graduate 2012, Photo by Alex Wang
Seth Whitsitt is a Dean’s Honored Graduate in the Department of Physics. He is being recognized for his academic excellence, including a perfect 4.00 GPA, as well as his excellence in research, which culminated in an invited article in a peer-reviewed journal co-authored with his research mentor, Professor Greg Fiete.
Seth’s first research project was with Professor Richard Matzner in the physics department. The project studied general relativity and cosmology, specifically the effects of a black hole in an expanding universe with an ingoing radiation field. Their work studied the problem in a special coordinate system and investigated the time-dependent dynamics of the event and cosmological horizons. Writes Professor Matzner, “I am extremely impressed with Mr. Whitsitt’s drive and ability to learn new science. Starting from zero background in relativity, within a week he was producing valuable results in his analysis. The work consists of collating results in the literature, checking the way derivations are carried out, and importantly suggesting new directions to investigate, to find new insights into the physics described in the Vaidya de Sitter cosmology. Because this solution is analytic, it allows Mr. Whitsitt to show off his command in analysis, which is impressive also.”
Subsequently, Seth was sought out by Professor Greg Fiete to consider problems in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics. Their work studied an exactly solvable model of a “spin liquid,” a hypothetical exotic quantum state of matter characterized by local magnetic interactions with no magnetic order. Their theoretical model has a rich phase diagram with many extremely exotic phases. They also studied perturbations to the model under mean-field theory to investigate how robust these phases are. This work was honored this year by a $5000 2nd Prize Mitchell Award from the University Co-Op. Seth presented his work at the 2012 meeting of the American Physical Society, and it will appear in an invited article, “Exact Chiral Spin Liquids and Mean-Field Perturbations of Gamma Matrix Models on the Ruby Lattice,” on which Seth is first author. Writes Professor Fiete, “In the mere nine months Seth has worked with me he has completed a theory project that would have taken a solid graduate student twice as long… The solution of this problem involves a tour through some of the most interesting destinations in modern correlated electron theory and has implications for a wide range of physical systems, including some that may end up in next-generation technologies…There are very few undergraduates in the world who have made the kind of advances Seth has.”
Seth has routinely shared his passion for physics with younger students. He has served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for courses such as Professor Charles Chiu’s introductory physics for engineering students. Writes Professor Chiu, “Seth often went beyond the assigned work. On several occasions when a student needed extra help or did poorly on an exam, Seth would offer his extra time to work with the student one-on-one trying to understand what the student had trouble with conceptually.” That kind of mentoring creates the academic community our university is deservedly proud of.
This fall, Seth will begin his PhD research at Harvard University. He will be supported by a Peirce Fellowship offered to the top six Harvard physics applicants as well as a prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. For his book award, Seth chose, among others, Lie Algebras in Particle Physics, Methods of Quantum Field Theory in Statistical Physics, and the Collected Poems of W.B. Yeats.
CAPE MAY – Former leader of the U.S. intelligence community and advisor to two presidents – one Democrat, one Republican – Joan Dempsey will present her lecture “Our Nation’s Security: How Intelligence History Affects the Future,” on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Ave. This is the fifth annual lecture in the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Lessons of History Distinguished Lecture Series. The lecture will be followed by a meet-the-speaker reception hosted by Doug and Anna McMain at The Queen Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn, 102 Ocean St.
Dempsey is former deputy director of central intelligence for community management and the first woman confirmed by the Senate for one of the top three U.S. intelligence positions; former executive director of the president’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board; former assistant secretary of defense for intelligence and security; former deputy director of defense intelligence for analysis and production; former naval reserve officer and former naval cryptologist.
Her more than 45 years of intelligence and policy experience, combined with her rare position as a senior political appointee in both Republican and Democratic presidential administrations, give her the ultimate insider’s perspective on the history of modern U.S. intelligence:
The history of the Cold War is the history of U.S. intelligence in the modern age. The U.S. government’s insatiable need for information to prevent or counter real and perceived Soviet threats drove development of American space and advanced technology programs that produced radar, lasers, stealth and quantum computing. Intelligence operations during the Cold War often were used as surrogates for “hot wars” but with very real costs and implications for global security that extend far beyond the decades in which they were conducted. The dismantling of that intelligence system in the 1990s had equally dramatic as well as unforeseen implications for global stability. America’s ambivalence about a strong central intelligence system continues to undermine both national and global security.

Cape May Lessons of History Distinguished Lecture Series 2012-present
This is the fifth lecture in the Lessons in History Distinguished Lecture Series, which began in 2012 with the inaugural lecture by Dr. Myles Martel, entitled, “Ronald Reagan’s Legacy: Lessons for Today’s Citizen Leaders.” Martel launched MAC’s Lessons of History series with his unique perspective on what made Ronald Reagan one of the most transformative presidents of the 20th century – insights he gained first-hand as he personally coached Reagan for his outstanding performance during the 1980 presidential debates.
In 2013, distinguished speaker Harold Holzer presented “Lessons from Lincoln: The Poetry and Prose of Freedom,” which explored how, more than a century and a half ago, Abraham Lincoln made history twice, both in deed and word, first by ushering in freedom from slavery with his Emancipation Proclamation and second by celebrating its “new birth” with his Gettysburg Address. How Lincoln balanced the prose and poetry of these canonical acts was examined as Holzer recounted the year that Lincoln so deftly balanced the political, military and historic to preserve government of, by, and for the people.
In 2014, David O. Stewart, author of the book by the same name, presented “The Summer of 1787: The Men Who Invented the Constitution,” which explored the conflicts and hard bargaining that invented a government to meet the crises of the not-quite-united states – huge debts, hostile neighbors, armed rebellion, and the very real prospect of dissolving into three nations or more.
In 2015, Col. Cole Kingseed, Ph.D. presented “D-Day: Why it still matters: How America’s European war established the United States as a global power,” which explored the ramifications of the Allied victory on June 6, 1944, not only on the course of World War II, but also as the pivotal step in the United States’ rise to global dominance.

Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering Rebecca Lindsey directs the Lindsey Lab. They are working in simulation, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) for chemical engineering and applications. The lab focuses on developing and utilizing computational tools to enable simulations that approach quantum-level accuracy, on far greater scales. Ultimately, these simulations allow the Lindsey Lab to elucidate insights that are driving more efficient materials design and synthesis strategies.

I'm preparing for an upcoming keynote later in November for an organization that just booked me, and asked them to share a bit of insight with me as to their current strategies, structure and innovation mindset.
It was a bit interesting to discover, when I found among the documents they sent me, this one around their strategic planning process. I'm not sure I am allowed to share it, but thought that I would because it just provides so much context!

Memo: Strategic Adaptive Realignment for Forward-Looking Innovational Synergy
To: Leadership Team
From: Office of Transformative Future Pathways
Date: October 12, 2024
Subject: Catalyzing Hyper-Responsive Strategic Convergence for Next-Gen Ecosystemic Optimization
In today's hyper-dynamic paradigm, our strategic scaffolding requires immediate recalibration to future-proof against emergent disruptors and catalyze omni-directional innovation vectors. Our adaptive modalities must transition from linear, hierarchical constructs into multi-faceted, cross-collaborative frameworks that can flexibly pivot in real-time to align with macro-trajectory shifts in ecosystemic trendspace.
We must galvanize our operationally holistic alignment mechanisms to actualize a seamless innovation pipeline that is consistently enmeshed with quantum-transformational goals. The gravitational pull of tomorrow’s meta-disruptions mandates an immersive symbiosis between agility-centric governance and outcome-centric synergistics. By harnessing our core competency in proactive adaptation, we can transcend traditional growth inhibitors and actualize a new dimensionality in value creation.
At the core, our focus will be on amplifying perpetual readiness through iterative recalibration of our strategic matrices and optimizing fractal connectivity across interdependent operational nodes. Converging our resilience portfolios into a hyper-modularized framework will allow us to bridge innovation chasms and initiate value-chain rebundling in a way that preempts fluctuational variabilities in consumer touchpoint engagement landscapes.
Therefore, it is critical we cascade alignment protocols that reconfigure our execution modalities into a perpetual beta state, allowing us to achieve synergistic agility while preempting obsolescence within disruptive innovation vectors. By coalescing this philosophy into a cohesive, innovation-first ethos, we will pave the way for exponential cross-domain pivot capacity, thereby empowering each node within the strategic ecosystem to align its adaptive imperatives to the compass of forward-leaning progressivity.
In closing, a universal commitment to this hyper-resilient recontextualization of our strategic foundation will catalyze our journey toward holistic future-readiness. This document serves as the preliminary roadmap for tomorrow-centric transformation, redefining our organizational DNA to pivot and align relentlessly in pursuit of continuous, future-aligned innovation ascendancy.

Implement metrics for “synergetic holism,” focusing on immeasurable, intangible benefits.
Deploy Agile-Oriented Bureaucracy Hubs
Establish hubs to refine agile principles through increased process formalities, thus creating agile-bureaucracy balance.
Integrate Non-Actionable Visionary Templates
Utilize visionary templates during planning, focusing solely on lofty, non-implementable objectives.
Orchestrate Continuous Feedback Vortexes
Develop feedback vortexes where team reviews cycle in perpetuity without leading to actionable change.
This initiative represents a landmark effort to solidify our stance as leaders in innovational stasis and non-disruptive engagement. It will empower us to consistently appear active, thereby fulfilling our objectives in activity-based operational stability.
We look forward to your engagement in these non-forward-moving yet enriching exercises.
Sincerely,

They were asking me for a 30 day plan. So I responded.
To: Leadership Team

Subject: Unacceptable Innovation Paralysis – Immediate Action Required
I have to be blunt – I’m shocked by the inertia and red tape choking innovation here. The hesitation, the endless procedures, the unwillingness to take a real risk – it’s stalling progress at every turn. You’re at a critical juncture, and if you don’t act fast to overhaul this culture, you’ll be left behind.
Here’s what needs to happen now: We’re cutting half the processes that delay decision-making – full stop. From this point forward, we’re embedding risk-taking as a core value, and every leader here is responsible for championing it. No more hiding behind what’s “safe” or avoiding hard calls; this team needs to prioritize speed, bold thinking, and actual results over protocol.
In the next 30 days, I expect to see a visible transformation. Every team must bring at least one risky, untested idea to the table, and we’re moving on it fast. This is your wake-up call. If you can’t shift gears now, the future will move on without you.
Let’s get to work.
Futurist Jim Carroll

Of course, none of this is real. I had ChatGPT write it!
Please write a 500 word memo, full of incomprehensible buzzwords that has to do with the need to adapt a strategy to align to tomorrow and chase innovation. The paragraph should be as incomprehensible as possible.
Here's the thing. You've probably read memos like this.
Maybe you've written some stuff like this.
You shouldn't.
Just stop it.
Do you remember my post about "Bullshit Bingo" - a great game that went around the corporate world in the 90's?
Maybe it's time for a new one! So I had ChatGPT draw one up - take it into your next meeting!
The spelling isn't great, and there's a bit of duplication, but hopefully you can still use it!
Gotta go!
I have a Zoom call with the Chief Architect of Synergistic Quantum Evolution and Holistic Innovation Convergence!
